A different way of approaching things

Osanto is a small, independent education practice. We help people learn, understand and belong.

There is more than one way to approach things.

People and situations differ. Established models and familiar methods can be useful, but they cannot account for everything. We look beyond assumptions to understand what is actually happening and what might help.

You don’t need to know exactly what you need. Bring a question, a problem, an idea or simply a feeling that something isn’t quite right. We’ll work it out together.

Sometimes you need new knowledge. Sometimes a different perspective. Sometimes a solution that hasn’t been tried before.

We value clarity, not oversimplification. Our aim is to make sense of things without adding unnecessary complexity.

And when there isn’t a ready-made answer, we find out.

This is how we approach learning, language and culture, studying, and the way organisations serve people. The services differ, but the principle remains the same: understand the situation and find an approach that makes sense.

How this works in practice

Language and culture coaching is for anyone interested in Finnish and Finland. You do not need to live in Finland or plan to move here. You can start at your current level, with your own interests and goals. The aim is to help you develop your Finnish and deepen your understanding of the language and life in Finland, in whatever way matters to you.

Study coaching helps students move forward when they have lost direction, their studies are stuck, or even doing everything right does not seem to be enough. You are not alone, and being stuck does not have to be permanent. Studying is a skill that can be learned.

Customer experience assessments help companies see their operations through the eyes of their customers. We look at what the customer experience feels like, how easily customers find what they need, and whether they feel welcome.

Belonging training (coming in 2027) helps organisations and communities create environments where people can participate and feel that they belong.

We are genuinely interested in what we do.

For new clients, the first 15-minute conversation is always free.

We always talk to people. Even when the subject is business.

Who we are

A small, independent education practice. Since 2026.

Osanto was founded by Mikael, who holds a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Helsinki. His background combines years of studying educational science, 30 years of work experience, including 12 years in education, and having lived in different parts of Finland. Having visited 33 countries has further broadened his perspective on different ways of living, thinking and understanding the world.

Osanto’s philosophy has grown from academic study, life experience and an endless curiosity about people, learning and the world around us.

We remain curious, question assumptions and stay open to possibilities we haven’t yet considered. Our services may evolve, but this way of thinking remains at the heart of Osanto.

There are no stupid questions. There is always more to understand.
